Overview

*This position is fully remote and pursuant to a government contract, this position requires U.S. Citizenship status.*

 

DLH is seeking a Technical Requirements Business Analyst to provide support to our customer. The Technical Business Analyst will provide oversight on solution architecture, design, integration, testing, and operational support provided by the Technical Development and support teams to ensure Program Objectives and Functional Business Requirements are met.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Decompose high-level hardware, software and system functional requirements into industry standard “shall” statements or user stories. 
  • Host and facilitate working groups and JAD sessions to groom the product backlog and/or further define user and technical needs into requirements or user stories. 
  • Review and validate technical work products, such as Agile User Stories, System Design Documents (SDD), and other design review packages to ensure that development vendors have a comprehensive interpretation of system requirements. 
  • Analyze system requirements and develop technical documents such as the Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) and System Requirements Specification (SRS).  
  • Collaborate with the Program Office process owners to ensure the successful integration of the RM process within these corresponding process workflows (e.g. Project Management). 
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Familiarity with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodology.  
  • Knowledge of Agile Scrum Methodology and Product Owner / ScrumMaster roles preferred. 
  • Ability to decompose detailed requirements from high-level statements.  
  • Knowledge of IT system Requirements Management processes and practices. 
  • Strong communication and organizational skills required.

Education, Certifications and Work Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of two years of experience related to IT System Requirements Management

Security Clearance:
Existing ADP II Public Trust clearance level and above or ability to obtain an ADP II Public Trust.

 

Basic Compensation:  $80,000 - $90,000 

The salary offered within this range will be based on the selected candidates’ skills, experience, education, market data, and internal parity. DLH may offer other rewards that may include performance incentives and program-specific awards.  An applicant’s salary history will not be used to determine compensation.
